We have a new service available for MDEC ECU4: we can reprogram engine running hours. As you can see in the photos, displays on the different monitoring system show “Operating Hours” of the engine, this is coming from ECU4 memory.
Sometimes, when ECU is damaged and replaced by new one or memory of ECU is corrupted is necessary to reprogram the complete ECU, loosing original engine hours, which are important to follow a mechanic maintenance plan.
Also, if you go into memory for troubleshooting, checking alarms or whatever you see hours of engine when something happened.
I´m sure there are a lot of MDEC units working and not showing the real time of running hours of the engine.
