The MTU Display 12 (DIS 12) is a marine-grade visualization and monitoring unit developed for BlueLine electronic systems, designed to provide the operator with clear, stable, and fast access to comprehensive engine and system operating information. It enables structured and detailed supervision of critical operating parameters, system statuses, general condition messages, as well as warnings and alarms, supporting early identification of deviations and effective response to abnormal conditions or limit exceedances.

In typical installations, the DIS 12 can be fitted at the Local Operating Panel in the engine room as well as at remote operating positions such as the main bridge, open station, or flybridge, ensuring a consistent and uniform monitoring interface throughout the vessel. As part of the MTU electronic architecture, the DIS 12 communicates with control and automation modules via CAN bus, ensuring reliable, synchronized, and coherent system data exchange, contributing to enhanced operational safety, optimized maintenance, and precise system supervision during all phases of vessel operation.
