We received a special request, not very common. One customer was having problems with the digital hourmeter integrated in RPM gauge from VDO brand and installed in MTU BlueLine system.
The main issue was not about the unit failing, it was about installing it again, even a new one showing the correct engine hours.





In this case, this gauge is not communicating with the rest of the system to show the exact hours supplied by ECU, this is just counting time as soon as it receives W signal from alternator, so it is working isolated.
We took a panel from our stock and invested time in looking for the way to introduce the requested hours from customer engine.
We found the right way to do it.
