This is a CPU from one of the last generation of DIS10-DIS13 from MTU, to be exact it is a Mikrap 10962. It seems so simple, around 5×8 cm PCB… but we have been working, studying, analysing, troubleshooting it, for around 2 years with its random failure behavieurs.
It was a nightmare and very frustrating when we thought we found the solution for its problems and finally they came again intermittently.
We were very persistent and constant getting up from the ground with each drop we had, we know our job is not easy finding a lot of challenges in our way.
Finally, as with other complex repairs and equipment, we found the solution to repair this difficult multilayer CPU by reverse engineering, fighting a lot of rounds with the electronics. Many boards came from this model one after the other.
You can imagine how happy we are when we finally get success in projects like this.
The key is, from one hand, not giving up, from the other hand, enjoy with your job.
A lot of them will die, but we are ready to give them life again!!!
